Sublustrum Platforms
Steam PC is real. Consoles are TBA. Single-player only. Game languages are not the same as this wiki’s languages.
Confirmed: PC on Steam
The only storefront with a live product page is Steam for Windows PC, app 4151300. That is the page for the wishlist, the playtest Request Access button, and — when Fall 2026 arrives — the paid finished remake. There is no Epic, GOG, or Microsoft Store listing from Brickworks to split your follow across. If a key shop already claims a “Sublustrum PC preorder,” it is not first-party.
Coverage names Phantomery Interactive as the developing studio brand and Brickworks Games as publisher. Steam’s own credit line has sometimes shown Brickworks in both roles; for players the practical identity is the Steam app plus sublustrum.net. The game is a first-person psychological adventure: a 3D reimagining of the 2008 Sublustrum / Outcry, not a live-service client and not a Roblox experience.
Hardware targets for that PC build — 720p30 minimum, 1080p60 recommended, SSD highly recommended — are tabulated on system requirements. Platforms and specs are related but not identical: this page answers where it ships; that page answers whether your tower can hold the target.
Consoles: officially unspecified
Announcement copy and trailer cards say the remake is coming to PC and consoles in Fall 2026. The consoles are not named. There is no official PlayStation store SKU, no Xbox store SKU, and no Nintendo listing. “Unspecified consoles” is the accurate phrase, even if it is unsatisfying.
Some databases and upcoming-game calendars already print PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series as expected hardware. Those rows are unconfirmed third-party listings. They are not proof of a contract, a rating board submission, or a DualSense feature set. Do not buy a console for Sublustrum on the strength of an aggregator. When Brickworks names a platform, it will show up on Steam news, the official site, and the socials collected on official links — not first on a wiki rumor table.
Same-day console and PC launch is also unconfirmed. Certification queues differ. Until a day exists on the release date page, there is nothing to “day-and-date” against.
Game languages versus wiki languages
Steam’s language list for the game (as announced) is:
- Full audio: English, Russian
- Interface and subtitles: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese (plus the two audio languages)
A July 2026 FAQ said the languages currently listed on Steam are the ones confirmed so far — meaning the list can still grow, but you should not invent extra voice tracks. Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese are game-client languages. They are not a promise that this fan wiki is written in those languages.
This wiki is published in English, French, German, and Spanish. We do not ship a Russian or Chinese wiki edition. If you need Russian audio, that is a Steam client setting after you have a playtest or, later, a purchase — not a language toggle on sublustrum.wiki.
Features the store actually lists
Steam describes a single-player adventure. There is no second-player mode, no online session browser, and no couch campaign to invite a friend into. Planned Steam Achievements are listed; they are not a live 1.0 trophy set today. Family Sharing appears on the store page and is excluded until release of the finished product — a playtest license is the wrong thing to try to share across a household.
Controller support on PC has not been the headline of official posts. If you plan to play the chapter-one playtest with a gamepad, test it, and report the result in Discord rather than assuming a console-style prompt set. Keyboard and mouse remain the safe assumption for a Steam PC first-person adventure until the studio says otherwise.
What this is not
It is not a mobile port of Brickworks’ other catalogue. It is not a VR SKU. It is not a Roblox game that happens to share a mood. It is not “out on consoles” because a database filled a logo. The 2008 original had its own PC publishers and regional titles; those old discs do not grant you the 2026 remake.
Price is unannounced on every platform. Regional ratings will appear when store pages for those platforms exist. Until then, the honest platform sentence is short: Steam PC confirmed; consoles TBA; single-player; request the playtest on PC if you want to try chapter one before Fall 2026.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is Sublustrum on PS5 or Xbox?
Not as an official SKU. Consoles are unspecified. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series rows on third-party databases are unconfirmed listings.
What PC store sells it?
Steam, app 4151300. There is no first-party second store. Specs are on system requirements.
Can I play with a friend?
No. The remake is a single-player adventure. Steam does not list a second-player or online session mode.
Does the game include Russian or Chinese?
The *game* plans Russian full audio and Simplified Chinese interface and subtitles. This *wiki* is English, French, German, and Spanish only.
Is Family Sharing on?
Steam lists Family Sharing but excludes it until the finished product ships. A playtest client is not a shareable 1.0 copy.
When do console pages go live?
Unknown. Watch official links and the release date page rather than aggregator SKUs.
