Sublustrum Tools Hub
System requirements, wishlist and preorder status, and the soundtrack that the remake still treats as gameplay.
What this hub is for
Sublustrum’s finished remake is still scheduled for Fall 2026. The tools in this section are the practical pages you need while you wait: whether a Windows PC can hold a 720p30 or 1080p60 target, how to wishlist the Steam app when there is no paid preorder, and how the Anthesteria score is meant to work as more than menu music. None of these pages unlock the full campaign. They exist so you do not guess at specs, store buttons, or audio setup from a screenshot.
The Steam app ID is 4151300. Developer credit on coverage usually names Phantomery Interactive; Brickworks Games publishes. The store currently lists a single-player adventure with planned achievements. Family Sharing is listed and then excluded until the finished product ships. If a random site already sells a “Sublustrum key” or a deluxe preorder, it is not the official storefront — confirm against Steam and the official links map.
System requirements before you request the playtest
Steam publishes two rows. Minimum is Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB or Radeon RX 580 4 GB, DirectX 11, 10 GB of space, and DirectX-compatible sound, aimed at 720p30. Recommended is Windows 11 64-bit, an i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600, 12 GB of RAM, a GeForce RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 5700 or better, DirectX 12, 15 GB of space, aimed at 1080p60. Both rows say an SSD is highly recommended.
Those numbers describe the PC build the studio is targeting, not a promise that every laptop with a similar nameplate will match the playtest. The chapter-one playtest that opened on 4 September 2026 still needs a Steam request; it is not a lighter “demo SKU” with its own spec card. Headphones are not a Steam minimum, but the remake’s puzzles are sound-shaped — a detuned piano in an apartment, location-specific textures — so a headset is the practical extra. Full tables, storage notes, and what “highly recommended SSD” actually means live on system requirements.
Wishlist, price, and the missing preorder
There is no public price and no paid preorder. The only first-party buy button that will matter later is Steam, and today that button is Add to your wishlist. On 15 June 2026 the official channels celebrated 50,000 wishlists. That milestone is a community count, not a gold-candidate date. Wishlisting is how Steam can mail you when a playtest invite, a demo, or the Fall 2026 launch is ready; it is not a reservation that deducts money.
If you already requested playtest access, keep the wishlist anyway. Playtest clients and the finished package are different Steam artifacts. Step-by-step wishlist clicks, what the 50k post did and did not promise, and how to ignore fake preorder storefronts are on wishlist and preorder. Pair that page with getting started if you want a play-side checklist instead of a store-side one.
Soundtrack as a tool, not a merch page
Georgy Beloglazov’s project Anthesteria scored the 2008 game in a dark-ambient and neoclassical register. He later worked on Metro 2033. The remake still treats music as identity: official inspirations copy describes a detuned piano in the professor’s apartment, Arabian rhythms in a desert, psychedelic guitar, hypnotic throat singing. The original Sublustrum was conceived as an interactive companion to that album. This hub will not invent a 2026 OST store listing that does not exist yet.
Read soundtrack if you want the composer history, why headphones matter next to the spec sheet, and how location themes tie to puzzles. That article is a listening primer, not a spoiler dump of every cue in chapter one.
Suggested order
Check system requirements before you download a playtest client. Wishlist the app so Fall 2026 does not pass in silence. Skim soundtrack if you care why the team talks about sound as structure. Then leave this hub: request the playtest if you want hands-on time, or open getting started if you want controls and first-room expectations without treating the remake as a released campaign.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Do I need the recommended PC to try the playtest?
Steam’s minimum row is the honest floor for 720p30. The playtest does not publish a separate spec card. Compare your hardware on system requirements and still use Request Access on Steam.
Can I preorder Sublustrum from this wiki?
No. There is no official paid preorder. Follow the wishlist guide and the Steam store page.
Is the soundtrack sold separately?
Not as an announced 2026 store item. History, composer notes, and how sound works in play are on the soundtrack page.
Why is an SSD called highly recommended?
Both Steam rows say so. The remake streams dense 3D interiors and audio beds; a spinning disk is the first thing to upgrade after VRAM. Details are on system requirements.
Are these tools a substitute for the playtest?
No. Specs and wishlist buttons do not grant the chapter-one build. Request access on the playtest page after you check the spec table.
