Unofficial wiki for Sublustrum, the Fall 2026 3D remake of 2008's Outcry: release date, playtest, puzzles, story, and platforms.
Sublustrum is a first-person psychological adventure from Phantomery Interactive and Brickworks Games: a full 3D reimagining of the 2008 cult classic known in the West as Outcry. You play a writer who arrives at a missing scientist brother's apartment, repairs a machine built to immerse a human mind in the subconscious, and steps into the Flickering World — a liminal realm of memory, sound, and industrial dream-architecture. The full game is scheduled for Fall 2026 on PC via Steam and on consoles; it is not released yet. A Steam playtest covering the first chapter opened on 4 September 2026. Use this wiki to read the getting started guide, learn how to play, study sound-driven puzzles, follow the spoiler-light story, compare the original versus the remake, check the release date, join the playtest, confirm platforms, measure your PC against system requirements, wishlist the game, and open official links.
